Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge (Transborder)

Located on Level 2 near Gate 73 in YUL's US Transborder zone, the Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge (Transborder) is a compact but well-maintained space for pre-clearance crowds heading to US destinations. After clearing US Customs and Border Protection, passengers turn right into the departure hall and look for the large "56–73" gate sign — the lounge entrance is before that sign, with stairs and an elevator inside leading to Level 2.

The lounge operates from 5:15 AM to 7:30 PM daily, with an earlier 4:30 AM Saturday opening to catch weekend early-morning US flights. The food and beverage area offers a self-serve bar with beer, wine, and spirits, light snacks, and hot food selections during peak hours. United Club members are included on the access list — a useful feature for travelers connecting through Montréal on United codeshare or Star Alliance routes. The Desjardins Odyssey Lounge (near Gate 76) is the open-access alternative in the same zone for Priority Pass and DragonPass holders.
